Drivers, car owners and crew member’s are invited to come and get their 2011 NASCAR License on Saturday January 29th, from 1pm to 4pm at the HorsePower Grill & Sports Bar at the Barrie Molson Centre. Pit pad rentals will also be available. Any drivers that sign up and pay for the their 2011 NASCAR license that day will receive 2 Tickets to the Barrie Colts game that night! Drivers who have already registered online or have renewed with NASCAR can bring proof of their 2011 license and will receive two tickets to the game. If you can’t make that date, 2011 license forms are now available at the speedway office at the Barrie Molson Centre.
Barrie Speedway has also announced special Pit Pricing for NASCAR licensed drivers and crew for 2011. Drivers and crew members with a 2011 NASCAR License will only pay $10 for entry into the pits on race nights, a significant saving over the non-member price. Non-members price for 2011 will be $25.

I think Drivers should get in free. The crew thing last year was great but i thought that was a little much. Drivers should be free if licensed. Just my opinion though as they are the ones that put on the show and put people in the stands.
well at any speedway ..the driver and car ARE the Show never heard of Actors PAYING to go on stage ....lmao
Well, they need to charge as much as they can at the pit gate, ...cause they aint getting the money anywhere else! I think more people were in the pits last year then the crowd, from drivers, crew, sponsors, and fans, and family of the above...
Cutting the pits entry was GREAT for the drivers and crew last year! But terrible for the track.... Do the math on that loss, probly close to 4-5,000.00 a night. Who did they gain or attract from it?? .....3 or 4 pure stocks ? Not a smart move at that time of the year...everyone had already made their choice as to where they were gonna race.
That move whould have been IDEAL and SMART for THIS TIME, the off season...when people are looking at where they might want to START the season.
I hope things get better for Barrie, ....Run some more specials Barrie!!!! Look at the crowd in the pits you had for the Stefko series!
People might realize there is a track on line 8 if you have some specials for them to run...
