R.I.P. Thundercar Division (beginning of time-2011)

It trully is a shame. Such a good class went to waste. But like many others, it out evolved itself.

(Be smart and dont follow thru with these proposed rule changes)
Adopt the same rules as Sunset and run on friday nights. Why is this so hard to see?

the 602 with the smaller cam and the builts with the smaller cam and both with exhaust manifolds are pretty equal. if they leave the cam rule the way it is, they will be fine. if not, nightmare time!

Biff and Joe Adams ran all year with 602's against the unlimited cam builts..and Biff won everything if he showed up....so did McTeer....

It started getting stupid with the 9' and bodies, should have brought back challenger, gave the LLM the 604,challenger the 602, and thunder the shitty 275 crate option. Kept the thunders stock firewall, recaps no floaters, we would then have a class for everyone. How does somebody get involved in this class now? 10-15K? what does it cost to do a season? another $5000? Let the Liquor do the thinking on this one ;D

flybya8 is right to, when the firewalls went out of the cars, that allowed alot of engine move back stuff, hard to detect.  Then offset cages and light tin kits, higher rear weight.

When I got the Malibu from Jim it rocked and my 3,000 dollor Hoss engine was king of the road.  2002-2007 was great, no changes, just body and paint, now its retarded........ :'(
