If they are going to be doubling up the restarts, and running double features for late models, as well as doing anything with points for features/heats, they should update their website as all the handicaps /points structures are the ones from last year and won't work for their new formats

Me thinks dave should be the driver/track liaison, he does such a good job unofficially already!

  No disrespect to Dave but that is a horrible idea . If we have a problem we will speak for ourselves .

Another thing that came out of the meeting was that all restarts this year will be double up format as opposed to the 1-2-3 double up that we ran last season. And no worries it wont be that kooky "pick a lane " format either, it will be 1st place to the pole, 2nd place to outside pole, 3rd place to inside row 2 etc.

Is this double up restart for all divisions or just the late models. inquirering minds want to know

So much for running BSW at all this year. I was hoping for a couple of Invitationals for us to give it a try, but hey what do I know?

Yes indeed we do have a point fund at Sunset. Here is how it works.

Total dollars earned equals points ( $100.00= 100 points) the only difference is we pay you the money each and every week, instead of saving it until the year end.
The reason for this is, you can run well and be top in the points, blow a motor and your gone, and have lost all of the money you have earned in points. That can't happen when we pay you every week.
Also the track champion etc. will be chosen by the point standings.
