Another thing that came out of the meeting was that all restarts this year will be double up format as opposed to the 1-2-3 double up that we ran last season. And no worries it wont be that kooky "pick a lane " format either, it will be 1st place to the pole, 2nd place to outside pole, 3rd place to inside row 2 etc.

too bad for the guys in second and fourth when the caution comes out. should make for some exciting racing after the restart. (and a bit of bent metal!)

Why don't we vote Dave as the liaison for the drivers/track?  We could probably use one.  Saves the drivers from getting bad reps by taking matters into their own hands.  Dave would be the fair guy to do the job.  One vote here for Dave!

The double up restarts will be a disadvantage to the outside guys no? I would think a guy in third or fifth place will like this rule.

in the end it will even up as ppl will benefit and get screwed a few time sa year....

I'm wondering will it be lap cars to the back?...... cuse say you have 2 slow lap cars..running close to each other...just behind say.......2nd place.  then you have a re-start and row-3  is two lap cars side-by-side!!  how badly is that going to stack up the rest of the field.
