scroll down to rule # 11, this has been in place for years and most tracks have a similar rule.
Did you participate in 80% of the events?
VarneySpeedway has posted his notice regarding the new tire rule, and now its apparently open season on Varney. Not cool. Let's keep it about the tire rules please.

Thank you very much.
It should be noted however that, while I am an employee of the track, my comments here are strictly my own personal opinion.
We all know that Varney is a great place to race and a great place to watch races. Regardless of car counts, Varney puts on a great show every week. We may not have the "spit-shine" that some other tracks have but, we do the absolute best with what we have and that is apparent every Saturday night when you look up into the stands.
Thank you to all of you who continue to support our little track. We are definately the 'black sheep' of the family and will not please everyone but, thanks again to those who do appreciate our efforts.
Well all this crap talk about Varney, i have to say is a little disappointing especially after running every possible event there last year, that didn't conflict with flamboro including a couple of rainouts. I run up there in the stock 4 class went through a pre race wieght and safety inspection. The post race insepction consisted usually on the same item to be inspected on all cars regarless of make unless not applicable. After one on track incident I field a protest which was followed up before the feature and not at the end of the night, although i did not agree with the call on the track it was explained well by the race director and followed up on and i appreciated that. The racing was as clean and competitive as Flamboro and Oshweken the other tracks i raced. As well from well I could tell in the stand at Barrie, delaware and Peterbrough form which i watched from the stands. There was a few bad apples up there that made life difficult for my brother when he ran up there and the track suspended them and from what i hear have kicked them out for all of 2011 a move that flamboro has never done, even when peopel hit people in the pits. The competitiveness of the stock 4 class is top notch with veterans like tolton, hartmen, and cremesco making it tough to wheel your way to the front. The new track is fun to drive and as challanging from a mental standpoint as any in the province. Corner 4 is one of the toughest in the province. It may not be the crystal palace that sunset is, but I think it serves the purpose for its market. Flamboro would kill for there fan base and the events they run for the fans are great as well. The money the raise for special Olympics is a great thing for the sport as a a whole as well. I enjoyed my time up there and loved the racing up there in the stock four division. as a out of towner I always founf them very good about giving you a hand if you broke whether is was Mast, clarke, lovell or one of toltons. All tracks have isues but i would and will run up there more times this year and I was always been paid well upithere even gettting a full field bump a few times on specials. I made more there for a fourth place finish in a special than i did for getting perfect attendance and 7th in flammy points. good luck varney this year and I still hope to see a season end stock 4 championship at your track this year. oh and i am looking forward to the time trail night as well.
