After many off-season changes in the hopes of improving the racing and fan environment of Varney Motor Speedway, we are pleased to release our tentative schedule for the upcoming racing season.

Varney is honoured to have the Pro Challenge Series back for the third straight year and, once again will welcome the Hurricane Midgets to the highbanks this summer.

In addition, to address the high demand of requests from Ontario racers, Varney Motor Speedway will be working with; and allowing at Invitationals; 16 valve 4-cylinder cars as part of our long-weekend race cards.

All your favorite events will return this season including the end of season Van-Trailer race, King Of The Hill, the All Pro Modified Rick Woolner memorial, the Big Bad Bob Street Stock Invitational and the Street Stock Super Dave Gray Memorial. Also, Junk Yard Dogs return to Varney. Following the King Of The Hill format, Junk Yard Dogs will be a no-holds-barred street car one-on-one showdown. Last car standing wins and don't expect to drive it home!

The Fall Classic will resume this year with a new format.

Speaking of new formats, Invitational Nights will see the starting grids determined by means of time trials instead of heat races. This will allow us to run longer lap features with the potential of some competitive surprises thrown in to the mix as the season progresses.

All in all, the new managemnet team at Varney Motor Speedway are thrilled with teh potential of the upcoming season and are dedicated to making it a memorable one.
