Attention all Varney Motor Speedway competitors.

Please take a moment to visit our website and review the rules for all divisions for the 2011 season. There have been some changes made with regards to many of our classes that could potentially affect you.

This applies most particulary to those divisions that will fall under Varney Motor Speedway's new "Tire Rule". More specifically, those who fall under subject to the rules but only run Varney Speedway on Invitational nights.

PLEASE DO YOURSELVES AND US A GREAT FAVOUR BY MAKING SURE YOU CONFORM TO THE RULES BEFORE SHOWING UP TO RUN.

No one likes getting parked for the night after they've towed all the way to the track and, believe us, we do not want to have to park anyone. You have 3 months. Plan ahead and everyone will be happy campers!

Thank you for taking the time to read this notice.

your rules are different from every other track for the llm, I dont think guys will show up if you expect 100% conformity with your rules?

So whats all the big changes you have made? As far as I can see a new tire rule!! I thought you guys were making an aggressive attempt to get drivers back? How do you expect to get drivers back when you're the lowest paying track around????Can't believe I was thinking of racing there!!! With the rising cost of fuel and parts over the years, Varney has yet to make changes to their payouts to compensate the costs.  You have the fans for now, a decent new track, time to get some better drivers and be competitive with the other tracks. You need to make your rules more comparible to other race tracks they are too far out of touch. If you think guys from other tracks are going to travel to your track for invitationals you're sadly mistaken. You're invitational payouts are less then a regular nights payouts at most other tracks....I was excited to hear what these big changes would b and had been holding off registering at the track I race at only to be disappointed as usual by varney attempt to run a good track.

Once again, some real positive feedback here on CRO.

Varney is trying to keep costs down and even the playing field. Sorry you don't agree with the changes that are being made, many of which won't be realized until drivers show up and, many of which don't have anything to do with class rules but, the fact remains we are taking steps to bring our track up to par with others. We can't make the leap all in one year.

It continues to blow me away when you try to make steps in a positive direction, you get some hothead blowing up the joint. No one hase a gun to your head racefan2010. You don't have to come. not everytrack is the same and, for some drivers, it's not all about the highest payout...it's about the track, the fans, the staff....we still got em covered there.

Have to agree with you varneyspeedway awesome race track with a family atmosphere, raced there for years and was a spectator for many more years. But, your going to have to give a little on some rules, when sauble allows more engine upgrades and sunset allows quick change rear ends and fabricated spindles and lower control arms. The tire rule is pretty much the same as any other track, so thats no big deal. the payouts are low but the fun of running that tight little track makes up for it, as long as you go home in one piece.
