Well race fans, today is the day that the keys of Varney Motor Speedway are supposed to be offically handed over.
It is no secret that the Nuhn family has been working away at the track this past fall taking advantage of the weater to get a head start on next season.
If this purchase has in fact gone through, I would like to welcome the Nuhns aboard and wish them all the success in the future. They have some great ideas for the speedway; both minor and major; and will need all the help they can get.
I also want to thank the McLellans for some great seasons at the track. The last few years have seen trying times for everyone as the price of gas sky-rocketed and the economy tanked but, Ken and Joan perservered and kept a quality product on the track and, in the process, leaving both drivers and fans overall satisfied.

yes it is OFFICAL kent nuhn and soon to be wife sarah lundy aree new owners of varney speedway motor-plex, looking forward to the next race cant wait......will miss him in the late models tho
