It is a great lil track with an owner that gives a damm! he pays $75 tow for minis and I have seen him up the purse if the field or the house is full. Pays out of towners personally at the end of the night and says thankyou everytime. I think that is much better than say $500 to win and the 75 for second and 25 in tow. I have raced every special this year and the competition there in the top ten is as tough as any track in the province great racers like Hartman, Toltons, Mast and Cremescos will run you hard, fast and clean. You win up there up there you earn your money for sure. Wish I could but final night at flam so no chance but I hoping it rains so we can run sunday. Great racing, Great show, great Track and great fans(will be a full house for sure. Make the trip up and support your local short track. The guys and girls will give you your moneys worths. Hoping some Barrie and Sunset cars make the trip. Good Luck all.

Stefco was 650 to win. AC is 600.

The first is a "sponsored" series and the latter is a well established event with a proven history of car turnouts. This is only our third year. Sure, the first place money is 300 but, sixth is still a hundred bucks.

Sorry you won't be able to make it. I guess the 300 is still up for grabs since 'you' won't be making the show.

Thanks for your support Thayne. Considering you haven't run up here since.....well, let me see.....what's it been two; maybe three years??????? Maybe even more!

You're usually not one to bash on us here on CRO.

All this track tries to do is make for a good night of racing for fans and drivers, treating both with respect. We don't step on any of the other "high profile" track's toes. In fact, it is Varney that gets the short straw up against everybody else so Thayne, your sarcastic comments about our Thunder purse don't hold a lot of weight when you probably wouldn't have even come in the first place.

I got no beef with you but, comments like that don't do anything for short track racing in this province.
