“The car felt good and I think that we've made progress from last year, it's working really well. We had two good practice sessions today. In the last session, when we put on a new set of tyres like everyone did, we just didn't quite maximise the tyre grip, but we're making a lot of progress. The car with the changes is comfortable and nice to drive, so it's been a really positive day and we've got a lot out of it. Of course we'll see what tomorrow's weather looks like, but at the moment we're in good shape. This circuit is a little bit different from Albert Park, but what we learned at the Grand Prix in the sense of what the car likes, its setups and the amount of adjustment the car likes per setup change is all useful here. We've been learning a lot today as well and applying what we did learn at the Grand Prix, which is all working well.”
