"It turned out to be a great day! Qualifying was 20 minutes and for us it was really important to have good runs. We used all our sets of tyres and on the last set we managed to have pole position there for about 15 seconds, but ended up second only by five thousandths of a second, so I wasn't too disappointed with that. I had a ripper start. We used our worst tyres first, which we knew was going to be difficult. Once we got rid of them and put some fresh tyres on, the car was working really well. I had a great battle with Scott (McLaughlin) at the end there. We caught the leader, but just didn't have the tyre life in the end. We finished in third, which is great. Now we leave this weekend and head to Winton leading the championship."
