well if this doesn't seems like it could to into a smash Stompin' Tom thread I'm gonna throw my two cents in.....  Although  I have my own reasons (as I'm sure most people  do) for not being a diehard #47 fan (I'm sure my reasons are different then you may think)  Saturday nights second feature had me standing back watching Tom use his god given ability to drive back to the front masterfully by using smooth calculated moves (and half a car I might add) although most of the people around me thought he was out to wreck the #57  Tom showed me and I'm sure a few other non believers that he is indeed  still a force to be recond with, weather he reads this or not I myself have to say that for that 20-30 minute stretch I was a #47 fan and really admired the never say die attitude and the perseverance, dedication and personal control it took to get back to the front the way he did,  although some may not agree why they call him Stompin Tom  I for 1 do,  again I was super impressed Saturday and to be truthful loved watching that show, you have to give credit where it is due and believe me it's due and from my mouth or mind probably way over due,  my hat is off to you Mr. Walters  you now have a new fan maybe not diehard but a fan all the same  I don't know how anybody can sit there and not like the never say die approach,  he always puts on a show and always finds his way up front (even with half a car) he's a true racer and in Saturdays 2nd feature ( that's the 1 I got to see) he showed everybody his true character as he is %100 racer and blew by the #57 like he was parked (maybe to the dismay of some) on his way back to the front to keep himself and his 26th championship hopes in hand!!!  as I said before a masterful display of pure driver ability and control!! that has just leaned this "not so much a fan" closer to "Fan"  too bad  there's only a handful of drivers like him left the sport needs more!!   Kudos to you Mr. Walters!!

Congrats to Mr. Morrow on the Deuce!!

Just to put my 2 cents worth in also,Walters has been running very clean as of late and for 57 quennelle to pull such a completely retarded act as he did sat. night is just uncalled for and to hear the track big wig say that no one not any of his officials saw anything is just absolute crap, all you had to do was look at the stupid grin on his face. Looks to me and I'm no big Walters fan either that he's getting it from both sides on and off the track. He's definately in a no win situation. JMO

This my racing friends is why I've been a Walters fan for close to 3 decades ! Tom may have his moments but he is human and makes mistakes like the rest of us  but anybody paying attention knows Tommy puts on one heck of a crowd pleasing show . Never underestimate the Stomper ! Good luck to the #47 Team in the Sunset points battle .

well hey when you cut down on a guy, i wouldn't lift either, if your going to do that then he deserves to be spun and quesnell owes tommy quite a few more.

I'm surprised to see a Quesnell worshiper on here ? Cutting down on someone is one thing but trying to take their car straight into the wall is another story . Sunset had a driver already fatally killed that way years ago and  as a fan want to see NOBODY HURT from stupidity . That was a very hard crash Saturday night and if you stand behind a driver like that , your in the wrong sport ! I hope nobody wished you had your old Mustang shoved in the wall when you raced ! You must have bumped your head one too many times as a child .
