September 20, 2008 Sunset Speedway Race Report
Wow, all I can say is that one night turned into a night of history and a night of real good racing. It's definitely a night that should be remembered, as we're finishing off the season (sadly).

First of all, the Four Fun division has a rule change where they had to add roll cages, racing seats, and a racing fuel cell. With that stated, a four fun can now qualify as a legal 4 Cylinder Road Runner. Well, two four cylinder drivers (Harold Noseworthy & Doug Butler) both had motor problems, yet wanted to savage points for the rest of the year. So what did they do? Simple, they each burrowed a Four Fun and ran that car in their races. Harold burrowed Jayson Brown's, while Doug burrowed Nicole Podewils'. It simply turned into an interesting experience, as everybody got to see how the four funs would run compared to the four cylinders. Overall, it was discovered that to make a four fun into a four cylinder road runner over the off-season, it would take a good bit of work.
