I assume you either race at, or atleast spectate regularly at Sunset.  If you do either you will know how bad the officials have been this year and would understand people think its a crap way to end a season.

Tom left the track after being shown the black flag twice. I hardly think that this can be considered ignoring it! I dont think I have seen anyone leave a race the same lap as they are flagged. It was a bad call by some biased officials. Plain and simple, there is no other explination.

What are the rules on Black flags for Sunset. I noticed none of the race rules on the web site include race procedure rules.  Most tracks around lay out the rules for re entry to the track and use of the black flag. And, in a large majority of cases, you have 3 laps to answer a black flag before they stop scoring a vehicle.

They used to be posted on the site. It seems they were lost during the change over.

Rules are made for everyone and everyone should be treated even.

I agree. So I'm asking for an example of where another racer got a DQ for ignoring the black flag. I don't think there is an example of this.....

Ross Tom was not DQd. for ignoring the black flag, but rather entering the track under green conditions, read Sunset rules, they clearly say if you enter the track under green conditions you lose all point and money for the night!
Why don't people read before discussing these things?

Polish Prince in one of the few that has his head on straight.
COC Edit
That from a Sunset and Barrie fan, loyal to both tracks..
