Ross after 6 years on the executive one fact i have come to believe is that racers whine, constantly, trying to argue with them is a lost cause. i was one of these until i got involved in running a club operated track. most cant or wont see the big picture all they worry about is their little area . on average 4-6 phone calls a day wrt b***hing and moaning. this guy looked at my girl in the pits that guy has better tire then me on and on. last nite was my last meeting on the board and elections are on wed nite i think im going to go play poker.
I have to comments on this were all posted on here so we know there are many that had issues. No one ever said everyone was unhappy with the track. Also I don't think it is right to use a comment like you used. (The majority of folk are like youself) Please don't group people in a group. That is how wars are started and border line of a personal attack.
My point is I think its been blow out of proportion the number of people that have issue with the track. The majority of folk are like youself, and either happy with the speedway, or neutral.

Grow up Evan, I said "The majority of folk are like yourself are HAPPY!!!"
What an insult, I called someone HAPPY!! LOL
You cry about things here but you seem to have comments for all. If you don't like it here leave plain and simple. You are above all? Beforeyou tell someone to grow up look at yourself. Please don't waste members time read your reply as we all know you have to have the last word.
Earnhardt I do agree with you. As a business owner myself, I think the most important thing is being visible to your CUSTOMERS. Talk to them listen to what they have to say, even if you don't want to you have to. As a bar owner, on some days the last thing I want to do is hang out with the regulars and listen to the changes I should make to my bar. Are my customers always right? No of course not, but if you give them a little respect and listen they will always return. What makes my bar successful? Visibility, people like to talk to the owner it makes them feel important. I just think the powers that be at Sunset need to do the same. That's my two cents.
