I've spoken to Casale many times over the years . He doesn't talk down to you and he will take the time to listen and answer you properly . That attitude will earn the respect of myself and many others in the sport . I couldn't see him coming here and attacking the people who help pay his bills on his Speedway .

Well, it seems to work for him. Other promoters come on the scene for a few years at other tracks, then they move on. Casale has been doing this for a long time, and knows his buisness inside and out.

I get your point Ross, honestly, I just believe that businesses owe their customers a certain level of service, always, not just when they've had a good day.

Maybe its you are not being clear. I'm not really sure what you want. I know you want someone who will listen, but about what? Something that affects you, preferably..

Maybe I've had 'a bad day' here, but I'm a little lost.  I'm speaking of business relations in general, and how I as a customer (of the speedway, or local movie store) should be treated.  I have not had a specific run-in with Wes, but I have read his posts on here, and if they had been directed at me, you're darn-tootin I'd be ticked.  I don't believe I said I had an issue with anything specific.?. I'm not trying to be vague, nor am I looking to pick a fight, simply stating that customer service, in many areas of commerce (racing included) is vastly different than it seemed to be in the past.

I found my business was booming when a competitor bad mouthed me. People called or came in and saw my business wasn't like what the other guy was saying. I would rather have people talking about me then not saying anything at all. People hear good and bad things about a company but they will for the most part check it out and see for themself. Man I should thank that guy that used to bad mouth my business all the time or maybe give him a commission cheque. I increased my sales everytime he sad bad things about the company.

this is probably because anyone can attend your site from their own home without spending gas and money to see it...works differently in the case of the track....

The example given was a store I worked at as a freelancers so people came in and phoned in to hear the story.

I worried when people were not calling me but never happened. Some came out and asked what was going on thinking I would bad moth the competitor and I know when they called the competitor to ask about what happened he bad mouth me. I called him and heard it first hand. He never knew it was me. I told the people I have no issues with him and was nice about it but never bad mouthed him or his store. Guess what I got the business from them.

I know what you are saying in theory, but when it comes down to reality, you have not had a bad experince with the speedway.

My point is I think its been blow out of proportion the number of people that have issue with the track. The majority of folk are like youself, and either happy with the speedway, or neutral.
