I made it to Sunset and yes I had a great time and I think I saw a guy sitting in the same place when I was there about 10 years ago. It was great to see members that are on here and sorry I couldn't hear all of what you said as it was load and I was a bit stuffed up with allergies.
There was a good crowd on hand not like I saw it 10 years ago but give them time it will be a place to be again. I must say Tom is the real deal and won again and it was great to See Tony Tiemersma out there as I have watched Steve & Derrick race. Tony came in second behind Stomp-in Tom but they were way ahead and lapping the field. Tony seem to catch Tom in the corners a bit but tom flew down the front and back stretch and I think Tony got hung up with some lap cars.
The mini's was great to watch 26 started the feature, Thunder cars put on a good show but I really liked the Pro Challenge cars. It was great to see Scott Fletcher the Hype energy drink #60 car as the last time I saw him was back in the CASCAR days. Too bad he has ignition box problems I think they said it was and he didn't get to race much.
But a great night over all and the food prices were great I think I spent less then 10.00 in food. Haven't done that at event in a long time.

WELL-WELL What an evening of excellent racing at Sunset Saturday night !! What a crowd of racefans in the stands !! I have not seen that many people in the stands for sometime. There also was an excellent field of care to make the show, with more to come that are not finished being built. The whole show from first green flag till the last checkered flag was just slightly over 3 hours. All I heard from being different places in the stands was great excellent reports. The boothes were well organized and staff was very polite no matter who you saw and talked with.
More and better things are coming in the next few months and over the next couple of years. This is going to be the track of the area to keep an eye on Plan to come and enjoy an evening of fun and great racing. Saturday May 30Th the racing will start at 6Pm and then moves to 7Pm the first Saturday in June.
