I'll be there every night during the season, ready to enjoy a new year as the first night was exciting despite being cold.

Looks like from the results so far in the poll more people will be going or racing there. I will will be going with a friends and his son this Saturday.

            It was sure nice to see so many drivers and crew members at the drivers meeting tonight May 22/09 at Sunset Speedway.  Just walking into the grandstand area was 100% better, the pits were looking great with more work to be done. With the improvements that are to come will certainly make this one of the best tracks in Central Ontario. 
            It was also nice to see some of the previous drivers thinking very seriously of coming back, after trying some other local tracks. I will not mention their names at this time.  It will surely have a very new look by July of this year. Also Long Weekend specials are coming back .

whats the dates for the thunder specials now?

Thunder special events Sat. july 18th 40 laps, Sunday Aug 2 nd 50 laps, Sat Aug 15th 50 laps, Sunday Sept 6 th 50 laps and Sat Sept 26th Summer Slam 50 laps. Plus 2 rain dates for lost nights Sunday June 28th and Sunday Aug 9th racing at 4 pm for the rain dates. Great program on short notice.
