BarrieNxtGen#9...100% agreed...racing incident and nothing more
You always hate to see someones car get torn up and I feel for Rick, but when we sign up and climb behind the wheel we all know that this kind of thing can happen at anytime.
Jimmy leaks water and Ricky crashes, Dave leakes gas and Charlie crashes.....hmmmmm. I guess the people holding the radios and flags at Sunset need to be a little quicker, or let me call the flags from in my car! So ya the 2 ways radios would work!
No one said the 31 should be hung at high noon. We all understand, and many have stated that they didn't think it was on purpose including me. That doesn't change the fact it started because of him.
being bumped to the back was more than fitting.Lastly, I hope the 31 comes back again as it was a joy watching him race and I have heard nothing but great things about him!
Your point #1. The poo birds seem to flock to this car whenever something happens. That's a fact. It did happen this week maybe not on this site, but it happened. I work on the car and I have seen it. Maybe that's why some of us in this camp get a little defensive. We have gotten it from others and nothing was ever said. Someone ran right into us in the heats on Saturday and same as usual nothing happened. We fixed a totalled car twice last year for people driving into us or whatever. I get it it happens.
Point #2. I agree he should go to the back.
Point #3. Thank you and I'm sure that means a lot to Kenny.

Nothing against the staff at the track but leaking cars need to be addressed immediately. Hey I got the meatball lots when I started so I get it. It's totally unsafe to allow cars that are leaking anything out there especially now that the track is faster.
The other issue is how a driver is allowed to walk over from start / finish line to turn 2 to confront another driver still in his car on the track, TWICE, and give him a verbal barrage? What is up with that? Maybe some people get off on that stuff but I think it's completely unprofessional.
