You always hate to see someones car get torn up and I feel for Rick, but when we sign up and climb behind the wheel we all know that this kind of thing can happen at anytime.

No one who actually works on these cars likes to see them get tore up. But it does happen and sometimes there's nothing that can be said about it. Every single person out there has had to deal with wrecking and getting wrecked especially. Even sometimes deals that are not even of your own making.

It's a part of racing the 31 got into the corner and hit the bumper of the 99. I don't think the 31 car ment to do it as he was sent to the back so it didn't help him at all.

It's a racing deal. At one point it looked like the 99 saved it but came down a bit and got clipped by the 31 and off he went into the wall.

As for the fluid how does a driver relay that to anyone? You can't!  They might need some type of radio to do that but that would mean extra cost to the drivers which they don't need. Maybe the track needs more people around the track to look for things like that?

This thread has been active for four days, video reviewed, opinions offered, counterpoints given, further rebuttals and yet no consensus. One thing I get from this incident.......sure glad I'm not a racing official! LOL 😮
