On the video take it to 243 in see how much space is between Ricks back end and kens car is Rick was already loose before that point Ken never made contact until he was almost passed rick and rick was trying to get back in line for the straight away.

I agree with thunder on one point...what was the 68 thinking?  That was a long time after the fact when he smoked into 99?

However, clearly 31 caused the mess.  I dont' think it was intentional but on the video its pretty clear.  I don't think a black flag was necessary though.  Just to the back works as the call to me.

Nothing against anyone, we have all made mistakes, so this is just my take, after all I hit the wall all on my own lol...

I dont think Ken should have doinked Ricky that early in the race, nor that close to the front of the pack,  he has a fast car and had a good chance to take his time and get up front.  On the other hand, when Rick got tapped, he kept his foot in the fuel all the way around the corner, he was going to wreck by the looks of things regardless of bouncing of Kens car.  The 99 was heading for the infield wall im sure.

As for Chris coming in late, well........it happens in ARCA all the time, what were they thinking right?  Chis hasnt raced in a few years, never in that new car, and not on as fast a track, so if he wasnt SCANNING the turns to see what was around the bend, then ya its easily done.  I saw the yellow lights going into 4, so im sure Chris was watching his guages or the back bumper of the car in front.  Thats what happens when you dont look past your hood pins, and havent raced in awile.

But again, I have F****D up like that to, so no biggy it happens!

I watched the video about 4 times and it looked like the 31 punted the 99 out of the way as, for the 68 not sure why he didn't stop in time.

I'm not no racing expert so I don't know how much my comment is worth.

Thread was split due to it was off topic.

Looking at a few pics of the accident it looks as though there was alot of fluid on the track leading up to the back of Ricks car, I cant say what for sure but it looks as though perhaps the 68 car may not have been able to get slowed down due to the fluid as his car was right in the tracks of the fluid, this is just a possibility?
