Tommy did put on one heck of a show tonight and won both features as he promised earlier in the evening. My favourite part of the night was when Chris Morrow and Tommy raced side by side lap after lap as the crowd was on their feet and cheering . The #19 car of Jason Witty I find very impressive also , this guy can drive the wheels off that car all night long . As I watched the crowd , I had to smile realizing why I've come to stock car racing for close to 3 decades. It's awesome !

I cant recall another night of racing this year at any of the other race tracks i've been to,that there was so much side by side racing in all classes.By far the best race of the night was the first  late model heat when chris morrow started on the pole with walters on the outside of him.They ran green to checker side by side with neither one of them gaining an inch on the other till the finish line ,when walters won by less than his bumper.Great , clean race by both of them, worth the price of admission just to see a race like that.But also it seemed like every thunder car race,4 cyl race,which i might add was really exciting 3-4 wide at times and even the 4 funs. Yes i did hang around to watch and support these drivers as they were put on the back burner until all other races had been completed.One of my better nights of racing to watch so far this rain shortened year.

i stayed in the stands to watch that heat race...it was awesome driving by both of them i was grinning from ear to ear when it was done...was on my feet as well....

I must say that this year is def. year of the Walters!! We've got Tommy killing it in the late models and Herbie just flying in Thunders!! I must say those are two guys that I love watching!!
