This weekends LLM feature closed out the night's racing by 9:45 pm. #17 Kevin Cornelius enjoyed a huge lead much like the one Chris Morrow had last weekend. Morrow did what he could to close the gap, and Tom Walters was right behind. Congrats to Kevin and his team. Jason Witty had problems while Poole and Malcolm got into each other in turn one to bring out the race's only caution.

Thanks Dan .......couldn't do it with out the Witty's help a classy group of guys they are, I was also impressed with Chris Morrow never really get down to that end of the pits so I don't really know him other then on track but he was going threw tech the same time we where and he appeared almost as excited about our win as we where got alot of respect for Chris on and off the track.
Love the way they start whoever is leading the season points right at the very back of the field and work towards the front as they go down the points list. They do this in all the classes too.In the late models this must be a nightmare for guys like Witty and Walters as neither one has started anywhere but at the back for every feature so far this year. I'm sure by the time they work their way through the field, they've worn their stuff out. Its actually amazing that any of these guys starting at the rear have anything left in the latter part of the race. Cant be so good for the racers but it sure is exciting for the race fan. Frank Davies in the thunder cars proved it can be done this past week as he threaded his way through the field and won the thunder feature. Great job by Frank.

I gotta agree with the way they start the races too, tower, as it does add that bonus excitement and it gives those slower cars a chance to maybe steal one and prove they can be good also.
