Great racing last night at sunset all the drivers did a good job on not causing cautions and getting the show done on great time.  Race track looks awesome and less like it did last year all the time.

I have one question, who calls or tells the flag men to wave the caution. The reason for this is last night a thunder car spun out in turn four almost in the grass and was there for almost three laps. When he got going the iron fist gave him a thumbs up as if to say thanks for not causing a caution. A late model also stopped out of two and nearly  took out the 45 when he lapped him. causing the 45 to slow down and let the car he was chasing get away.  The people or persons who's job it is to call cautions should wake up. I guess some one will have to get hurt first before we wave the caution.

ok now im going to weigh in with my thoughts on last nights events and my good sir it is my understanding that the head starter is who calls everything on the track...there is no little birdy sitting there that hes waiting for to say throw the yellow it is all done at his discretion there have been people in the past complaining about too many cautions as well as quick cautions so i guess now its back to not enough cautions things happen on the track and it is to my knowledge that mr. dilley and mr. slaughter would like the show to go quick and relatively as smooth as possible now from time to time things may not but the majority of the time they do and for someone to comment on how and when to do part of someones job is totally out of line in my opinion i saw both races you are speaking of and the 9 thunder car was half off racing surface CAR RUNNING and trying to get back on the track but he was using his judgement on a safe approach to rejoin the race i do agree partly that maybe the caution could have been thrown but in my opinion he was alert and trying to get back on track....its a little different when a guy spins and his car dies and cant re fire...that is a no doubt cause to throw a caution drivers are not stupid they are aware of what is going on at the race track at all times or atleast should be well aware and as for the LM feature yes the 21 LM spun coming out of corner 2 now he was trying to rejoin the race as well and it was a driver error that he pulled out and almost took out the 45 he shouldve waited another lap and he woulda saw how much time he had to pull back on and where but he didnt it was a simple driver error and those can happen from time to time now for the most part my good sir you cant be anymore wrong with most of what you said and by all means if you think you can step in the shoes of the head starter not only at sunset but any race track and deal with what they do then please send out some applications...i heard enough last night from people who can make comments but if they were to step up and do the job they wouldnt even have the balls JMO

Cheers

Mike

The Thundercar being referred to was almost completely off the track and the cars were never close enough ass they came off the #4 corner and he kept trying to get it started and move it, in case you were not aware.  As for the late models, well they were in a dangerous position.
The Whole starting crew are doing a great job, since Steve and mark have taken over. It is not the easyest job to do.  Anyone who thinks it is, should step up and try it for a couple of races.  Great job on the stand there Ron The Iron fist and Jeff, who did a great job a week ago while Rob was away.
