CRO - you made a request of no personal attacks on others but you seem to have no problem doing it!  You weren't even there to see what happened and you make hear say comments but expects others not to.

This question is for Mark Dilley. What are your thoughts on this situation? As the track promoter who was well aware of what was being said on an un named message board and at the track and in the pits why was there no effort on your part to diffuse the situation before it had to go so far and so wrong. I am also aware that one of the track owners was informed of the possibility of a serious issue transpiring the week before.
Now due to the lack of due diligence we have a driver seriously injured and out for the rest of the year and another driver whom appeared to have little concern as he drove into the drivers side of the #47 car and took him out just as he predicted he would.
I don't dislike Dwayne anymore than I like Tommy but when a driver uses a car as a weapon to retaliate on the track then there are serious issues not only with the driver but also with the lack of track management and control of track affairs.

See this is the point of paybacks. For the most part the guys just gets spun out but this time it didn't go the way Baker thought it would. You never know what is going to happen when you go out and pay a guy back for something that happened weeks ago.

You can do this hundreds of times and everything is OK but this was the one time that it was different. I really hope the track takes actions and sets an example of the drivers doing this. 

Saying you are coming to the track with the intention to take out another driver is just not right and from what I heard many others knew this was going to happen and this includes people that work for the track. If this is true shame on you.

Officials at the tracks should have headed over too these drivers before the race started and say we are not going to put up with this BS and if you want to do this find another track to race at.

You might think I'm nuts but I would rather see a fight between the two drivers when they are out of the cars. Then see these guys doing paybacks on the track. With paybacks on the track others can get caught up in it or someone gets hurt. With a fight out of the cars these guys just hurt each other.

seriously were do u start. so many un educated opinions its crazy.u know what it is unfortunate tom got hurt for sure but to that i am willing to bet even tom knows that was not the intention of dwayne . dwayne had a score to settle supposidly which happend beyond his imagination when a driver became injured. definatly not his intentions . everybody is entitled to an opinion u have yours i have mine .as for the payback it was well overdue as tom not only wrecked bakers car that night a couple weeks ago but if u do recall baker was the points leader at that time and tommy was not black flagged for that so lets get serious for a moment i have hit the wall many times and harder than that one at kawartha and walked away .this situation had nothing to do with intent but rather the way he hit the wall that caused the injury

Well Pinky, I guess what your saying is, everytime Tom does something to someone else on the track he should think of there kids, there wives, there sponsors watching at the track...I doubt he does?   No offense, but I don't race at Sunset, but i hope to next year...he is the only guy i have heard of that pulls shit on the track...sorry, just telling you what i have heard from the distance.   And dont tell me everytime Tom wrecks someone he knows that how he is doing it...they wont get hurt...just that it is going to cost them lots of money?

Owe, and my favorite Tom story (this year anyways)...is how he tried to DQ his old car for having a cheater motor (the one he sold)...LOL...priceless!

Don’t be dumping on Mark! He has done a great job at Sunset, unfortunately he has to be away some of time with NASCAR, and that is when all control is lost at the speedway. When he is away there is no one else there that has the same authority as he does
