Every driver that straps on a helmet runs the risk of getting hurt in a wreck. Every driver that makes a career out of wrecking guys to win championships and races increases those odds exponentially. I like Tommy and baker and believe they are both talented racers. I do believe that there was no intent for Tommy to get hurt, the only intent there was on bakers part was for Tommy to not finish the race so that he lost the championship. Baker I'm sure felt that Tommy took him out of the championship hunt a few weeks ago and felt it was right to return the favor. Anyone who thinks that baker did that with the intent to hurt Tommy shouldn't be allowed to enter a race track, cause they obviously don't understand racing. I really do hope Tommy is ok and that he will race again soon.
the fact is nither the 47 nor the 48 finished that race the 48 saw to that under caution the reason the 48 did NOT have a chance at the CHAMPIONSHIP is because of the 2 week joke of a suspension he recieved for HIS ACTIONS of said night so GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT PLEASE as far as INTENT I hope The Courts Decide That and yes I WILL be entering SUNSET next weekend!
and oh ya by the way I am glad the guy who cut his racing teeth at Sauble WON the LLM CHAMPIONSHIP...WAY TO GO KEVIN #17
That's right, he isn't a rookie. And smart enough to know that if he spun him, he is still in the race. I've seen Tommy get from the back to the front in under 10 laps many times. Baker had his opportunity and took it, argue with me all you want, but these guys had a beef and it got settled last night.
How does he go back to front manny times in ten laps......by walling everyone your too much!
Well i was talking to Baker after the races and he said to me that he was just going to give him a rub than he got caught on Walters and that is when his tire blew he said he was no means meaning to hurt him like that and he said honestly i didn't mean to do that Bakers tire blew.
so just before all you Walters fans and whatever get the other story first why don't you go ask Baker he does have a side of the story too
and from wat i heard from a Walters fan is he fractured his neck and is done for 2 months so the rest of the season
tell the judge

When you say these guys had a beef i think you should have said that Baker was the one that had issues.Walters from what i have seen all year had no issues with Baker. Other than the incident 3 or so weeks ago when Baker spun and backed into the inside wall which i still say was just a racing incident involving Walters,no intent meant on purpose by Walters in my opinion,i cant think of anything involving these 2 racers. Now when Baker deliberately drove head on into Walters afterwards that should have been cause enough for the management and ownership of sunset to take notice of what was happening with Baker. This incident alone could have caused serious injuries in itself ,he should have been suspended for the remainder of the race season instead of just a slap on the wrist and this would never have happened. Also if this first incident was not enough for the management and owners to do something more appropriate, the race last sun. when Baker tried unsuccessfully to turn Walters by turning into him coming out of turn 4 and actually keeping his wheels turned into the side of Walters all the way down the front straight into turn 1 with Walters driving onto the grass just avoiding the wall , this also could have caused serious injuries. I think what happened sat. night could have and would have never happened if the management and ownership group had just taken what Baker was up to as serious as what everybody in attendance over the last 3 weeks did.
It seems we agree 100%
seriously were do u start. so many un educated opinions its crazy.u know what it is unfortunate tom got hurt for sure but to that i am willing to bet even tom knows that was not the intention of dwayne . dwayne had a score to settle supposidly which happend beyond his imagination when a driver became injured. definatly not his intentions . everybody is entitled to an opinion u have yours i have mine .as for the payback it was well overdue as tom not only wrecked bakers car that night a couple weeks ago but if u do recall baker was the points leader at that time and tommy was not black flagged for that so lets get serious for a moment i have hit the wall many times and harder than that one at kawartha and walked away .this situation had nothing to do with intent but rather the way he hit the wall that caused the injury
