You could put that Prelude up against Ross's TC or mine (right now) for that matter. That's just reality... Ross is delusional...
Their best times were 1/2 a second slower than my worse with bad wheel hop and a tight car at Sunset.
The watch don't lie.
I was 16.2 ish Barrie, well off Dave's 15.39 track record. Ya'll know your 4-banner lap times.
Into the 20's for thunder at Kawartha, the Moroney Honda's cleaning up at AC where not there.
Don't bet on the ponies Thunder6, thinking like that will have you betting on the 5,000 claimer out for a jog in the 15,000 class.
I have a feeling your stopwatch is broken because I'm pretty sure your car did not do a 16.2 at Barrie. It's either broken or the operator was under the influence of some kind of intoxicant.
Ross it's okay to admit you're wrong and take a honorable bow out of your argument. This is how you build respect and friends around here. Of which you have none of either right now.
The reality (which everyone else realizes and you don't) is that your car is not what you think it is. My car isn't all that special either and I would suggest to you that if I had trailered to Mosport all season it would have been me getting that rookie trophy and not you. I know my car runs at the back and accept that. You on the other hand are dangerous because you think your skill and your car is better than it actually is. You had arguments with Junior on here about how good you were, and we all sat back and laughed quietly to ourselves to spare you the humility... I suppose you turned a 16.2 with the broken valvetrain and would have been running with the Deuce if it hadn't been broken?
It's like Dirty Harry said, "A man has got to know his limitations". You clearly do not.
wow tex is bringing out the big boy ammo!
;D
slammer,
You are so creative why are you not doing the web page for Sunset it's pretty lame!
