with regards to the 24 jumping the starts in the 4 cylinder feature. Barrie's rule is you cannot pass until a line that is drawn in the middle of 3 and 4 irregardless of when the leader starts going. Don't know how he didn't get docked spots. If this was allowed at Sunset then a whole lot more people would be trying it every restart but it was just the 24 car!

Well it would appear he was docked positions - it says on the Sunset Website he finished nineteenth - I guess it was handled????

its always been, at sunset, that the race starts as soon as the leader passes the line

thats when the green light comes on

i used to LOVE catching people on restarts when they'd forget that they didn't have to pass the line to start racing....

i was just wondering what the rules were! But if the race starts when the leader passes the line then why doesn't everybody get a jump like that and try to go 3 wide?
