Ive been to at least 6 different tracks this summer and by far the most entertaining and informative track announcer ive encountered has got to be Spencer Lewis from sunset speedway. His knowledge of every single driver in every class is second to none. I think that if they did have an award for top track announcer that i for one would give my vote to Spencer.
I agree 100% from the tracks I have visted... he is by far the best. I think for speicals like Authem Coulers this weekend he should join the normal annoucer in the booth ;D.
I must also say for people that attend Kawartha like myself...Jim & Mike do work well togther. they'd get my 2nd place vote lol.
He's got the car shut off, he can hear you, lets give a round of applause to Spencer Lewis!!

HAHA...spence is rather good. But Dave Bradley is damn good. Spencer is a close second
Spencer is very good and some of his remarks last week during the fiasco of a chain race were pretty funny and got allot of laughter from the crowd . I go to allot of tracks during the year and i would rank him among the best . This may not be a fair comparison because Spencer is fairly young and new to announcing but the best announcer in Canada is Wesley Pierce at Niagara Raceway in Welland . Wes is up in his 60s and has been announcing for around 40 years and is much of a draw to the track as the races themselves.
