WOW! Now I'm in shock too over that revelation. I heard the rumors but never believed... Until now. Junior is a friend and I don't think he would lay a crazy accusation like that at someone's feet unless it had a semblance of truth.

And 13 races vs. 11 races is almost 20%. it would have been more if the weather would have co-operated (same as Barrie) and we wouldn't have been racing for less than a tank of fuel for the race car. Sunset was full payout. Barrie was $100 for your car and crew and less than a full fuel cell for 10th in the Thunder Car Division. I guess we all are business people and that sound like a bad investment to me.

And as as matter of fact it wasn't really 11 races at Barrie, because we had that race (the infamous "lights out") race we tried to get in for a month... Which ended up being a double feature night... So the percentage would be even higher than 20%...
