WOW lots of notice on that.....i have stuff to do that day so i guess i'm screwed to go...

honestly i'm having second thoughts about this outlaw division.....do i want to find 5 or how ever many thousand to improve my car that will only be able to run at one track that gives its drivers 5 days notice on a meeting to discuss some of the biggest changes to a division ever!!!  and "when the time is up the time is up"

to run for points but no points fund as someone has suggested....so everyone gets something out of that situation EXCEPT THE DRIVERS!!!  So the only thing that will change is no end of year payout.  and the purses should be higher anyways so that is no bonus just what is deserved......

here's an idea....have the outlaw meeting last seeing as there is more stuff to go through and more questions....this way you wont piss anyone off by doing one of the following 2 things:

1)  not give enough time to the outlaws for questions/concerns
2)  make the later meetings wait

but then again when has it been about the drivers lately?

there is a clear lack of foresight on the part of the track as has been proven on many occasions in 2008...what makes you think a new series will have the foresight incorporated into the plan for the development and survival of the division????

potential outlaw racers must ask themselves this question before jumping in or else they may in fact flush a shitload of money down the toilet!!!

Interesting post Joe and you bring up a lot of points. I like your idea of doing the Outlaw meeting last as you're right - new divisions normally take longer due to trying to get the rules set to what works for everybody. And the late notice - another really good point as I was thinking something like this should've been posted at the latest 2 weeks before.

Sorry guys, I just found out last night myself so I wanted to get it posted asap.  Wes called us last night to let us know and I got online right away to post it! 
Hopefully everyone will be able to make it.  Good point about the outlaw meeting needing to be last....lots of questions I'm sure will be raised and one hour may not be long enough for it.

i think the outlaw rules now are rele ridiculus, and i think they are going to have to make a few adjustments.
