So what has changed and what do you like and don't like about these new rules.
He has copied pretty much BSW rules, now he has made last seasons thunder car at his track engine illegal. The 74cc combustion chamber rule and the 1.5 exhaust valve.and it nows says no aftermarket shocks allowed. He is really looking for a fight,if he ever has his rule meeting. ::) ::)

74cc chambers were what the rules should've always been. There is the compression rule, 9.1, and the stock piston rule "OEM cast or forged pistons allowed. No high performance pistons".
Now to get your 9.1 compression, you have to run 74+CC heads, unless you get a dished pistion, which is not stock. Guess guys were doing that.
So the intend at one time was to force everyone to run smog 74cc heads and stock parts to keep the costs down. If you open it up to anything less that 74cc heads, then you can select from a few rare heads, and get an advantage.
1.5 exhaust is stock with the 1.94 intake. I guess a few guys took advantage of the rules and installed the oversided exhast valve. Again this cost us more money.
I'm glad to see that the rules are moving back to reduce the costs. The only guys that will be hurt were the guys dropping big bucks for the dished pistions and valve jobs. Since they have deep pockets and like thowing lots of money at a car, it won't be a problem for them to spend some to go back, so we can all compete without breaking the bank.
Selecting the Barrie rules to copy is about the smartest thing he could do. Its the closest track, with the largest number of cars. The Barrie rules can be run at any other track, where the opposite is not always true.
i think the mini outlaw rules are kind of ridiculus, i doubt any teams have the amount of money to take advantage of the rules, this is no way to keep costs down.
well then get creative instead and get your car to turn, you can only go so fast if your car wont turn. if you get creative and make your car turn like a dream, then your going to be a lot faster than before even with minimal engive mods. now you can carry momentum through the corner and dont have to build up so much speed again down the straight
