also the new generation cars are really just the body on the metric chasis...theres no other difference...all barrie is trying to do is basically modernize the class.....and its about time....as far as im concerned anyways....
Well I guess the differences between the two really boil down to a few small things IE New Gens have a full tin kit, and a Newer Body style, where as the Old Gens have a stock metric "G-Body" and a very minamal amout of stock fire wall left in them, I agree with everything Barrie is doing with this class it's making the cars easier to work on (more room, and no rust) gone are the days of leaving your car outside all winter and frankly not caring for it, here are the days of spending quality time with your car and making sure it's able to perform at it's very best day in and day out. As far as I'm concerned if you're not willing to sacrifice the time and effort required to stay at the top of your game then don't complain when then game passes you by!! instead of complaining the Sunset boys should be updating and wanting to get faster and handle better, at the last invitational @ Funset I overheard one of thier TC drivers say " I can't run a thunder car with them late models" when I also witnessed that same driver pushing in the turns and clearly being "out handled" but when approched with advice I was toid " I'm handling great" LOL um apparently you're not cause everybody is passing you in the corner!! but hey the biggest problem I see is that people spend too much time complaining about the cars that they can't be working on thier cars, cause if they were working on them they'd get faster and be able to run with them!! but that's what being lazy will get you!! RAG TAG tariler park racing is over fellas!!! get with the program or shut the hell up!
power train is the same? no fuel injection no six cyclinders? i thought i read the rules that wheel base could be 103 and 6 cyclinders with a wieght break. maybe i am confusing a different class here. not wanting to start a fight it is just we are boxing with shadows here and do not want to shot ourselves in the foot. i realize we will not make everyone happy i just want to pi** off the smallest amount of teams as little as possible but try and bring the class into the 21st century.thanks for your input guys.
yep...all that fun stuff i believe is the same...wheel base depoends on make and model....
