St onge won it in Thunder cars Doucette ran second it was a bit of a yawner. Melenhorst won the Mini stocks with Zinke second and Burrows third
There was 118 people in the grand stand when the races started ( I counted them)
here we go it all come back to sunset car are what???????????????????????????????????????????????
Field Fillers
What promoter in the right mind would run a show and get 118 people in the grand stand. ???
thats like saying
"what motorist in their right mind would go out and be hit by a drunk driver"
you can't foresee how many people are going to show up.....
if you're going to lob half-baked insults at least try to incorporate some sort of logic into them
Spencer it looked like you were completely baked last night...lol...nice glasses!
team 27 nice to have you back. I like the fur and jewelery nice touch...lol
I must say that i was at Sunset last and thouroughly enjoyed the show.Couldn"t beleive the number of Barrie late model drivers that borrowed a thunder car to race .#97 Brad Holdens car was driven by non other than Gordy Shepherd,Mike Brown also borrowed a ride and i also seen Dwayne Baker with Kyles #48 although he didn"t race for what ever reason.Good to see Local favorites St.Onge and of course flying Frank Davies and Ed Tremblay.Sunset locals did well also including Mark Adams ,Rick Walt and so on as i did not know a lot of them. Also as Pinecrest said , when the night started the crowd might not have been so good ,but as the night progressed so did the crowd.I think a lot of the fans didn:t realize that there was racing thurs. night but there sure was a crowd come features time.A pretty good crowd for a thurs. night.
yes ron larkin has run there before and will continue to make the trip as long as he can take his grandaughter, wife and dog in the pits...it was joey (pedro) fleet's first time and he said he loved the track and will be back, he has been struggling with overheating problems and hopes to make a better showing next time.
