It would be nice to have time trials once and a while.
Well the website problem has much more to do with communication than the website itself. They had a decent website built based on the budget that Wes had in mind, but NO ONE would give the webguy ANY information. not even a current and complete drivers list, Wes got mad at the webuy for not posting weekly points that Deb insisted that she had sent, and gave the job to Al. Guess what?? the points page got updated once and that is how it stayed for the rest of the season. I guess deb wasn't sending those points after all. The only one that was sending regular info was Brian Watt with his race reports, which were getting posted when they were received. I know that Slammer had offered to build and maintain a website as well, and I am sure that it would have looked spectacular judging by what I have seen on CRO. But you can have a spectacular looking website that isn't worth a thing if no one gives you any info to go on it!
Looking forward to next year, for goodness sake WORK ON COMMUNICATION ALL AROUND. Things may be far from rosy, but if you have communication between management, staff, race teams and fans, it will be a start.
