Just to let you know Bob Simpson - a dedicated race fan at Sunset and Kawartha has passed away early Thurs morning. Bob sat in the grandstands in the pits faithfully every Sat night. We will sure miss you, your friendship and your sense of humour! Rest in Peace Big Fella.
Remember at that big track in the sky - 5 more laps and he would've had him!! :'(

I had the pleasure of knowing Bob since I was 10 years old (over 34 years ago). He will be truly missed with his love of Ford's and wearing that Rebel Hat. I sat with Bob, Tom Milligan, Bob Cude,and Nate Salter this year at Sunset in the Pit Grandstands and listening to these gentlemen talk about the good old days was amazing. I should of recorded it!!! I'm gonna miss you Buddy.
