I think the Real Change they need at Sunset is Wes. I was just told about the front page at Sunset speedway. Maybe we should remove the forums here as we support real race tracks and not three ring circuses. Wes wonders why he loses sponsors? Blame yourself and the bunch of clowns you have running your site and that work for you.
Sorry some of you might be nice people there and are not included in these comments but when you work for a circus people think you are part of the attractions.
I will leave the sunset forums as people here understand there is good things and bad things in racing and that is what made this board people being able to say what they like and dislike about racing. If you want to hear the candy coded version of racing go to inside track.
I would also encourage sponsors to take a look at what you are sponsoring over at sunset speedway and maybe give your sponsorship money to a track that is not going to make you look bad.
Let's be serious now. Drivers had issues with the track and voiced it and Wes turns it all around and tries to blame a site? I will tell it like it is. Wes lied to his Drivers and teams many times this year and this is not rumors it is fact.
The issue is not a Message Forum that Wes would like you all to believe. The issue is he didn't care what drivers/teams wanted and didn't even want to listen to them and when they voiced their opinions he told them not to come back. This is a track you want to support? as a race team.
Maybe the truth is Wes hasn't paid for the track yet and wants to tell the previous owner the track is worthless to get a better deal? Maybe I don't know but why would someone do so much to make a track look so bad as Wes has done?
The people that care so much about sunset and continue to show how childish they are by putting things on the site and the owner allows it. They should spending time in the off season to make improvemets but no they want to continue this stuff they did all season
If Inside Track wants to be the main forum of Sunset go for it as it may trickle down to your sponsor that you are part of a three ring circus. I guess Greg doesn't care to much about the magazine.
I find it really funny how Wes and the gang are telling people Regulated and acknowledged racing forums. Sorry to say Wes we have been around since 1999 and people know us and know what the site is about. You are just looking for a place to hide the fact you turned a historic track into a free ring circus in one season.
They don't support hatchet and wannabee forums. Oh so Inside Tracks forums is a wannabee form as they have been up for only for 3 month and we will be celebrating our 10th anniversary in the 2009 season.
Also Wes race fans have a choice what forums they want to you use and you can control this and people will choose a message forum that is open and shows the truth about places like sunset. Fans and Teams want the whole racing story not the candy coded ones you get from a magazine that has got it's banner all over everything and has to tell you everything is fine with a place like sunset when the truth is known it has a lot of issues and instead of using the off season to make changes and listen the drivers/teams and the fans they want to pull little stunts like this.
Everything seems to cool down and it is forgotten but sunset wants to continue on and blame others. Sorry to those that support sunset on here we had moved on but they just don't want to let go and want to point fingers for the problems they created.

I was about to ask what was up your butt Evan.. Then I looked at the site..
Wow, uncalled for. Folks all I have to say is to take the high road on this one. Please..
That was completely unprofessional. I could understand the track supporting the other forums but to bash on a tracks website is not the thing to do. Its like if coke was your sponsor and you support them, its in poor taste and makes you look bad to bash Pepsi.
My advice here, is keep things positive here, so that it dosn't look like the problem is here. No need to bash anyone, because their actions do more to discredit their character than any possible rebuttle.
As a driver, I expect of myself to conduct myslef in a professional mannor in regards to my time on the track. I also expect any track that I run at to do the same. As such I would think it unprofessional to write on my car, Sunset is a wannabe track, race at XXXX. I expect the same of tracks I race at...

WOW IDONT BELEIVE THIS BUT +1 ROSS
All I can say is WOW. This is the best post I have ever seen you write Ross.
I agree that the message on Sunset's site is in poor taste. Anybody reading that would be included to not want to attend a track that would act in that manner but I hope people don't pay it any attention and as you have mentioned it doesn't get any attention here either.
There was a lot of good suggestions and a inside scoop into how people feel about their track on this forum and in this thread that could be used to better things. This only takes things back 10 steps.
This just shows the true ignorance that WES exhibits. I wont be racing there any time soon....and I ask my fellow brethren to do the same.
