That was completely unprofessional. I could understand the track supporting the other forums but to bash on a tracks website is not the thing to do. Its like if coke was your sponsor and you support them, its in poor taste and makes you look bad to bash Pepsi.
My advice here, is keep things positive here, so that it dosn't look like the problem is here. No need to bash anyone, because their actions do more to discredit their character than any possible rebuttle.
As a driver, I expect of myself to conduct myslef in a professional mannor in regards to my time on the track. I also expect any track that I run at to do the same. As such I would think it unprofessional to write on my car, Sunset is a wannabe track, race at XXXX. I expect the same of tracks I race at...
Ross, good post. Here's the big question . . . . . . can we expect you to revert back to sticking up for Wes, or has he opened your eyes to his true colours?
Evan, one thing to keep in mind - your site was important enough to Wes that he made reference to it on his own site. I would consider it somewhat flattering. Wes continues to lobby for the 'tool of the year' award! lol

There is no way you could side with them on this one as I could see if it was from another site but a Sunset? Everyone see this and it makes them look bad and if people thought CRO was the bad guy in all this they have changed their mind.
I really don't know what good comes from putting that on their site. I guess if sponsors don't come back think about what happened this year and what you did did WES.
As I said before sorry to all teams that race there this is not a track I will be attending till I see a new owner there that cares about racing and cares about it's teams that race there. It is such a shame this happened and it doesn't help anyone involved in racing.

Silverstone you don't get it by now Wes justdoesn't care who he hurts in racing even himself for that matter.
If someone asked to put something like that on my front page and I was a race track owner I would say are you out of your mind. He cries how bad CRO is for racing and people buy it but now they can see who is really bad for racing.
You would think you would want to forget what happened in 2008 and make 2009 a better year. The think I still find funny to this day is he hates use so much and the site but advertised his Swapmeet on here. What kind of person would do that. It just shows you he needs a board like this as we get the views.
Lets move on as their is really not much more we can say about it as it is really foolish and childish and if that is how he wants people to think of the track that is fine by me.
