Well I will be back. I had a good time got to meet some good guys, the track is fun to drive on and man that wall is hard, thank fully I really didn't do any damage to the car. The only real problem I have is the tree wide racing, I not one that likes to get pushed out side going into the corner. But thats just racing. Once again thanks to all the Sunset drivers and staff that I got to meet. {plus the food prices were better than Barrie and man was it good} ;D ;D ;D

All tracks have a problem with something or someone. Lets just hope they get fixed sooner than later. Chris we will be looking for you in the future, glad you enjoyed your race night at sunset.

So I figured i would add my 3 cents worth in here, but I read all this complaining about sunset and how horrible it is........but I have to ask you this question?? Why exactly were you at sunset last night??........OH! thats right.....because although you are NASCAR up at barrie, you arent as important as the Canadian Tire Series, thats right, they cancelled the regular supporters that dish out all this $$$$ each week to keep the place open and also dont refund $$$ to people who already bought tickets in advance and then cancelled their division (taj2). Not trying to stir up any commotion but c'mon guys.....everyone on here know that the only track so far this year to actually have a decent show and an organized night is Kawartha, so instead of bashing Sunset ( the track that welcomed the barrie drivers who had their show pulled out from underneath them) why dont we discuss the actual racing instead of the downfalls. Im not saying in anyway that sunset is great because its not but barrie aint to far up on the popularity totum poll either.

I just listened to majority of the drivers who made the trek....not one positive thing was said about barrie to me and one driver said they were going dirt racing instead of going back to barrie, "The most expensive show on asphalt" (food).

Junior, when our 4 cly drivers make the feature, get lined up ON THE TRACK, and then get told to leave, thats a slap in the face to our Barrie drivers...I know it was a raw deal to the BSW drivers with respect to the Canadian Tire Series being there, but when Sunset drivers have come to Barrie and made the feature ( past years) they got to run it, not told to line up on the track then told to get off, Barrie may have its issues right now, but nowhere near the problems Sunset seems to be struggling with... we would never embarass drivers from other tracks by lining them up and then telling them to leave.... just in poor taste, we all went there with high expectations of being welcomed but left being slightly disappointed with the results. Maybe we will just go back to BSW and work a little harder in getting our issues ironed out so we won't have to go anywhere else to race..... maybe thats the answer.... and thats my 3 cents worth,

I have to agree with junior on a lot of points. Instead of coming on here an critisizing this and that and everything else ,why not put it to good use and lets start calling the tracks and actually talking to the people that can make a possitive decision . I actually called the sunset number listed and low and behold who answered , but wes himself. He is actually quite a good [no pun intended] listener . I think that if you call him also you'll find that he wants to get things to where they need to be to put on a top level show for all race fans. Call him , i'll think you'll feel a lot better.
