pay for heat wins too, and have a trophy dash or "dash for more cash" for the top 2 in each heat.... 😮
Now there's another good idea as that definately use to work good when they did in the 90s.
Jim, thx for the head-up on what Wes has told you and you're right - it'll definately be more exciting due to lack of points racing. However, it'll only be exciting if we get a real good car count.

could be interesting, with no points there will be no handicapping (and no adding weight to constantly fast cars), so the slow cars wont have a chance to win, thus they will stay away (or get better), creating a field of fast cars only,
but for this to really work the tech department must crack down "here are the rules, you are within them or you are not" and start DQing
will they have a set of set rules or will it be home track rules.....if he is paying good money for the thunders....it will be good racing..

How do you schedule not knowing if cars are coming? Racing on Sunday is risky, crashes on sat. not everyone has two cars. Points keep drivers coming back.
