My point exactly, after Barrie the drivers move up1- NASCAR 2- OSCAR 3-HOOTERS if you master Barrie you can go anywhere. That is a great compliment to those who drive at Barrie

Fair enought, but if that is the case you can't just claim Walters as a Barrie driver.  He also dominated Sunset during a time where the competition was as solid (likely deeper) than it was at Barrie.

I will assume you are very young and your statement is based on naivety and not stupidity .  Historically the vast majority of Barrie drivers have struggled when racing away from the 8th line of Oro . I cant really think of a single home grown Barrie champion that had much success else where. Over the years Flamboro , Delaware , Sunset , Pinecrest , Nilestown , Checkered Flag , Cayuga , Speedway Park (Stoney Creek) are the tracks that have produced the best drivers in Canada.

Pinecrest you must be the opposite as your revel in yester year, the records show that Richard Petty is far superior to any other Nascar driver racing today but was he ?. Your home grown statement is probabley true ,there were many great racers from different era's who could and did win away from home, Cook, Ross, Beiderman and Hanley to name a mere few,but in the last 20 years things have changed l can only think of Walters (who you  unnecesarily slandered in a prior post-- it must be your blood sugar) who has been able to win all over Ontario, as has been said no body has won as many invitationals at different tracks as Walters.
