Alright. I agree with you but not completely. Answer me this... If you have been through tech already, and tech didnt find a thing, why do you have to sandbag??? If you have been through tech, you shouldnt have to sandbag... Correct??

Elite, they dont check everything the first time you go through tech.  At first its small stuff like weight, ride height, tires, then they get into looking under at the suspension a little, maybe cam lift and a squeeze test ( compression ) when you kicking some butt.  But if you have goodies past that and you have enough points lead, you dont need to push it, and get ripped down large, becouse you were stinking up the show.

But hey, guys stink it up as it is, and drive out of tech 5 minutes after they went in.  So your right, why not just go for it! lol

tech isn't tech anymore......look at sunset.....with the sunset rules, a mustang won the championship.
sunset allows no mods the way barrie does to the stangs.....so how do you explain it?

a stock mustang would not hold a candle to any stock 16v or 240 i don't care if it's a roush mustang if it was playing by the sunset rule book....so right there you can dismiss the tech at sunset as a joke

most tracks i have knowledge of aren't much different, and now the division is outta control to the point that when somebody starts checking really good, it will be armageddon, because in order for anyone to compete with the cars that are getting away with cheating, they have to cheat too!  So you end up with half of the division marching to their own rulebook.

at least with the barrie rulebook, mustangs can mod the engine to compete with 16v and 240 so its not a shocker to see them competing.

no rulebook allows tires to protrude from the fenders but there are cars at every track whose right sides are hanging out a mile....it's so obvious but never enforced.....pathetic no one has balls or cares about the good of the sport to enforce their own rules

Another thing that would make tech easier on tracks is if they all had the same rules....it's so short sighted by a bunch of tracks who are all struggling, no matter if they just paved the track or not they all lose money.....i bet no asphalt track in ontario is in the black
