Im sorry.. Im not a smart ass like you... Its the body mounts that shifted and the fenders got shifted.. That means the hood will be shifted.. If one side of the hood is pushed down, the breather box on the carb will be pushed on the one side, and the breather box wants to move... In this case, the hood was pushed down on the right side, and this caused the breather box to get pushed to the left... Where the throttle is on the carb...
So learn the facts before you come on here running your mouth...
if he came down pit road and did lift the hood you would think if the hood was the problem wouldnt u take it off if it was casuing the stuck throttle. i saw him come down and they were going under the right front corner where the sparks were coming from from what looked like a brake duct dragging. i also listened to the rtr broadcast i find it very interesting how joe just so happens to be recording mikes radio when all that happens
I too heard the RTR broadcast and the radio chatter about a stuck throttle.....maybe thats true but call me a conspirator cause too many things smell here. Didnt we also hear that the hood was taped down because there were no hood pins? If it was taped down then they weren't under it; I believe they were only under the car for the spark issue. And yes; it's peculiar that Joe jr is Bentley's spotter and with his father the on air RTR personality, he has the recording of the radio talk...thats quite an opportunity to have a captive audience. I still think that Bentley deserved the black flag as he tried to spin him a number of times before this. I also dont believe that Walters should have gotten his spot back tho.

And also, if you TRY to spin someone, they usually spin. Giving someone the bumper to get them loose is not not trying spin them.
I am just wondering one thing, and pardon my ignorance if I am missing something. If it was entirely accidental, which I think there could be merit to, why the little stand off afterwards, and why drive directly toward Walters and stop, why not just keep clear and continue on around the track. I am sure they weren't exchanging insurance information lol. If it was accidental, why taunt and make it worse? , as thats what it looks like in the video.

lol watch the video again. You will notice Tom starting to move as if to go after Mike. Looks like Mike was just going to play along with Toms game ''chicken'' at least that's what it looked like to me.
