No frosty? I thought last year turned out to be awesome. The weather was perfect and the racing was perfect... shakes head!!!

And August 16th is thunder car only? That will turn out about as bad as the 4 cylinder only that BSW did... shakes head again.

So far this is a rumour so will wait and see I guess.

Last year Sunset had 53 fans in the seats and lots of cars.
Question? who is going to pay the bills? with 53 fans and the drivers registration pooled together there is still not enough to meet all the expenses. Will you race for a % of the gate ?? 53 people at $14.00 each will give you $742.00 to divide between all of the divisions.
Than on top of that the track has to pay staff wages, insurance, hydro, water, and the list goes on.
I for one am glad that he catcalled this race.

Why did Wes catcalled the race.  Mickey either your spell check does not work or you have fingers the size of those new Italian sausages at Sunset.  Please keep posting, we all enjoy the mistakes.

Actually the swap meet is still on the "shedule".  I kinda thought that would be the first thing to change, but apparently not.  🙂

Well even if the frosty special runs I doubt the J-Cars will be there, as they were turned away earlier this year. They were supposed to be there at the first OSCAAR race, but that got canned after the track was sold

And the J-Cars put on one hell of a show there last year, all the kids in the crowd loved to see kids their own age race. We had three J-Cars in the field last year, 2 painted like NASCAR cars, and we had kids coming up to us all day and for hours after the race wanting to see the cars
