K I stand corrected. When I hear the word "invitational" used I assume it's a off racing night. Why would a track owner call a points night for their house track a invitational night? I love when we have our "new" friends from BSW come to visit and look forward to more invitationals to smooth over the last screw up as much as any racer at Sunset but never put it together or checked a calendar that it was a normal race program for us.
As far as the canceling of the Frosty Special it's not my race track so what do I know but I do know that I WAS there last year and it is laughable to hear that there was 53 fans in attendance... pure BS passed off as facts. That is a statement poking negativity at the track. Can you imagine somebody thinking about attending the Frosty Special and hearing on this site that only 53 people showed up last year...omg stay at home and watch Wheel of Fortune.
I did a little looking around on the net and came up with some sites. I forgot all about the J-Cars they brought out a full car count for 3 of their divisions.

too bad having it on the 16th....it will just be the barrie and sunset guys as all the rest of us are still running at our home tracks....should just have it on a sunday afternoon in aug sometime.....jmo

I'm thinking someone got their numbers confused... I think one of the Mid Week shows from last year had like 53 people in the stands... certainly not the Frosty, there was way more than that. I brought 3 with me so I those facts were right I would have brought 6% of the fans in attendance, not likely!
It was cold and damp but people showed up for some awesome racing. Hey if you get 41 Thunder Cars alone that's pretty impressive for a back gate. The only place I ever saw more T/C was at PB for Fall Colors.
