OMG yes Gritsy. I never really thought about them. I have heard about and seen pictures of J-Cars before but it wasn't something we have in this area or something I needed to think about. Kind of like open wheel modified or sprint cars. Nothing personal just something that happens somewhere else that I would never get a chance to see for myself.
When I showed up to the Frosty Special and seen them "invade" (lol) our track I was in awe!!! I had a 10 year old girl that comes to the track with me that had it all figured out on the way home how and when she could afford to buy one and how we could get to the tracks to race them.
When she heard they were coming back this year she had a crew of little friends she wanted to bring to the track to watch them this year... she was spellbound over them. I have to admit myself I found them very entertaining to watch but mostly felt proud of my track for having a added boost to our family atmosphere.
Know what I'd like to see...seeing as it's only 3 classes on the night.
why not do Twin-35's? and do a random invert or something.
got a couple different options
2 complety seperate races...$500 to win for each.
Best average finish between the 2... gets the $1000
thoughts?
nobody agrees or disagrees? LOL
nobody agrees or disagrees? LOL
Not my show to comment on... I think Sunset regulars should say what they think.
I would imagine that if there is 40 some odd cars showing up like last year it would be hard to run twin 35's...
That's like 8 heats then twin 35 features... but I guess it could work.
well I dout there gonna get 40 cars...25-30 at the most I would say...but we'll see...hopefully a good amount of Barrie cars come down... since it is annouced ahead of time...and Barrie Thunders are off.
