Steeve value tire just means that they are new tires that are not as expensive as big brand name tires. They also do not last 100,000 kms either. And you would be really surprised who makes tires for places like Canadian Tire or other places who sell tires that they do not make themselves...
The Thunder Car tires wouldn't even fit on you Mustang I don't think. I also think it would break parts...
Kahnefreak the Hoosier Thunder car tire would go on your Mustang but it would be a pile of work . There is a Mustang V8 Thunder car at Sunset and it runs pretty good that uses them even thought Sunsets tire is a little narrower. The first problem would be the ride height then the gearing issue and then the big one of having to re spring the car since you are going from a radial tire to bias ply.
what about tire softener does your track allow it if not how do they tech for it, we tried for years to use a durometer and it was dicey at best.
i remeber Mark Zucchinia running a Mustang hatchback in the thunders! When he came to Barrie he whooped the compeition cause he could dive three wide and pass cars!
