Just to recap everyone on the Cooper Cobras that seem to be awful in everyones opinion! Well I won a heat and the feature with them Saturday night at Barrie! They are great for my car! Faulkens are good too but just my advice for somebody with a lower budget!!! You don't need to spend any more then $25 per tire for a 4 cylinder racecar! Just go to your local tire shop and look in the used tires they have! Trust me you will find something there that will work for you! You don't want to spend a couple hundred bucks on new tires to see if they will work for your car cause that's a waste of money! So experiment with used tires from the tire guys or whatever! When you find the ones that work then all you have to do is pay $25 per tire from then on! just my advice though!

Kahnefreak its too bad that you are almost finished with the pure stock class i would have brought you some tires to try and you would never go back to those Cobras . No one needs to keep trying tires to see what works , tires are a science not black magic. Kahnefreak you did very well this year you would have done better on several other brands of tires and you may have won the points if you had of used Falkens or Yokohama's.

ok Mr chance i took over half an hour and found no falken or yokohamas that fit our tire rules that would be the reason they have not been tried. max 235 width min ratio 70 oem replacement and no v or higher speed rating. find me a falken or yokohama with in that rule that will do 800 laps cost less than 100 dollars and i will try them.

Mr 3 this discussion was about tires for mini stock cars in Ontario which at 90 % of the pavement tracks here are 60 series and anywhere from 195 to 215 size mandated by the rules .  I did not know that out on the prairies they mandated 235 x 70  x 15 tires on a mini stock but it must make the CRXs out there look allot like a monster truck . I do not have the time this instant since my wife thinks i should pay attention to her rather then spend the evening typing on a key board but i will gladly list several tires for that specification that would be superior to the Cobra tire you are so fond of tomorrow.
