Hey, I agree that the sunset site looks retarded. I also think that Wes was a moron. However the person that created this thread asked for it to stay positive. Why not start a new thread on the subject?
I split the thread but it is hard for people to be positive when you see a site that really doesn't care about racing but tries to blame others for what they have done wrong all year.
He makes himself look bad and if he would take the time to think about what he says before he posts he would look so foolish.
I know we have heard it over and over but why say CRO is bad for racing but then post a swap meet for your track. CRO must be good if Wes feels the need to post on here about an up coming event at the track. As Wes puts it they only deal with Regulated and Acknowledged Racing Forums. I have no idea how he became the expert on this as Wes never been on other forums. I think ours was the first and now he is a expert on it to say the other form is a regulated and Acknowledged racing forum?
Forums that forces members to use real names and don't give the users the choice if they want to be known by real name or not. Is called controlling and not protecting their members plain and simple.
See it's simple. A member posts something on the other site Wes calls them up and says remove the post and the site has too or their will be consciences. Maybe remove the sponsors name from the track or their site. See that was tried here and we value our members opinions and I said sorry it doesn't work that way as I owe you nothing. It doesn't work as you can't have an opinion on the other site and you can voice things they don't approve of. So you always hear your right to voice your opinions it doesn't happen their but you know you can voicethe here it maybe a good thing or it maybe a bad thing but you have the right to do so and not feel that someone will call you on the phone and voice their views because you were forced to use your real name.
It gets out of hand here sometimes but you know you can voice your opinions on here good or bad. We report to no one and that is what makes this site the best and that is why it will continue to grow and grow because members don't want to be told only post good things.
I don't know about others here but I never would have posted the swap meet on here after I was on a radio show saying how bad CRO is for racing. How can you expect for people to take your serious or trust the words that come out of your mouth?
Wes reads the sunset board here and I still can't figure this guy out as a member talks about making positive changes at sunset and we try to keep it positive and then Wes put that up on his site. I know if I was the starter of the post I would just say who cares with sunset as the track owner doesn't care why should you. How can positive changes happen if the place doesn't respect people trying to make his track better. You can hate CRO all you want but don't insult the members here with your BS as that's how I feel about it.
I could have jumped in earlier in that post and said bad things and I didn't as I could careless about what happened last year as 2009 is a new year but Wes has the mind set of who cares lets keep this going maybe he can blame CRO again if 2009 is a bad race season for the track who knows and who cares. Worry about the track and take the bits and pieces from members that care about sunset and giving ideas to make you place better. Continue to kick them in the face people will just stop caring about sunset and then where will you be?
I'm not telling you what to do and I can careless if you run the track into the ground but their are members on here that still care about sunset and no one is telling him to listen and make all the changes but address these suggestions and consider them and maybe more people will respect you and your track.

You think thats a slap in the face Thayne? That fing idiot couldnt even get my name right in the thank you section on the web site. My name is Tye WILLIAMS not Tye HODGSON!!! He couldnt even be bothered to look at the employee sheet all staff had to fill out for him at the beginning of the season, and whats even funnier is he had plaques made for all staff with their names and thank you wishes. He keeps calling me to come pick it up and cant understand why I dont want it!!!!! This is one employee who wont be back next year for any amount of money!!!!! He definatley needs to be nominated for the tool of the year award, even though he should win it hands down!!!!!!!!!!
