I know this I've been to every Stefco/McColl series race to date save for Kawartha but after the events of this past Fri night at Barrie I will NOT be supporting this series any further.. And I'm not the only one that feels this way I'm sure.. So what's that tell ya??

Dave, what that tells me is that people, especially from the other tracks are having a knee jerk reaction.  Dilley has made it clear that the wheels are turning on this situation and no one from McColl/Stefco has made any comment on the situation.  Not supporting the series, after its first real controversy, in its first year without hearing the end result to me is a little band wagon jumping.  Sorry Dave, I don't mean to disrespect you as I have nothing against you but to me thats a little drastic.  However, its your choice.  I have made it clear that I'm not a big Barrie fan, and I think a lot of indirect reps. from Barrie have turned me off of the track, but I still make a couple treks north every year.  I'm not going to paint everyone with the same brush.

As far as your comment about Dilley being a major force behind this series all I can say is atleast someone is!

Sidenote...I even got to hear your debute in the booth...atleast from my understanding it was your debute

Ya agreed the racing in the Touring series has been great and very clean racing... And glad your having fun racing it Thayne as I imagine its really neat to visit the tracks as a driver and try different set ups and see what works well at what places..Its also cool as a fan to make a yearly trip to tracks such as Sauble and Pete to follow this same group around and seeing who runs well at the different venues and such.. I'm sorry but this past Fri stunk to high heaven and I didnt even see alot of what went on in the tech shed just heard it from someone who was there.. I likely wasnt goin to the McColl race on the 5th anyways cause thats the day of the 200 at Delly. but I had planned on attending the Open LM invi/Stefco Thunder race/Vintage Mods on the 12th at Sunset but I guess now I'll just take a pass and watch opening weekend of NFL now instead.. 🙂

the series is a great idea and i would say a success! whomever is running this, i tip my hat to you for showing interest in local racing. a few hiccups here and there shouldn't deter them from doing it next year. live and learn and lets make it bigger and better!

+1...it will all come out in the wash and it will get fixed...on or off the track!

The only people that should be complaining are the ones that put in as much effort as they do, and when people do that, then they would not have the time or inclination to read internet forums anyway.

My only problem is the car wont fit in my office
